How should I change my bank details?

Verify the channel and confirm which payout or collection the change will affect.

Submit application

Opens an external application service. Check its terms before submitting. About this link.

Documents, a pen and a calculator arranged on a desk.

Use the verified channel

For an existing agreement, use the contact details on that agreement. For an application in progress, use its independently verified support route. Do not send a new account number in reply to an unexpected message.

Expect ownership checks

Lendeka’s payout account must be in your own name. A change may require fresh ownership checks and supporting information. Do not assume that changing a bank account also changes an existing payment mandate.

Check the timing before the next payment

  • Has a payout or collection already been instructed?
  • Which account will be used for the next scheduled transaction?
  • Is a new mandate or verification needed?
  • When will the accepted change take effect?

Ask for written confirmation. An update request does not automatically stop a collection, move a due date or guarantee a payout to the new account. Timing depends on the real application and payment process.

If someone sends you new payment details

Independently verify them with the creditor before paying. Never share a banking PIN, password or OTP with the sender. See the security checklist and bank-verification guidance.
