Gather the right information
Have your valid South African ID, recent proof of income and recent bank statements available. For this product, prepare statements for the most recent three months where available. If income varies, prepare an explanation and any additional evidence requested by the verified application service.
Check that your name and bank account details are consistent. If your name, employment or bank account has changed, be ready to explain the change instead of submitting an old document as if it were current.
Check the quality before uploading
- Include all pages of a statement or requested document.
- Make sure dates, names and relevant amounts are readable.
- Avoid glare, blur or a crop that removes part of the document.
- Use the supported file type and size stated by the application service.
- Do not edit balances, transactions or income figures.
Verify where you send it
Open the application address independently and inspect the full domain. Check the service’s privacy notice and the creditor’s identity. Do not send ID copies to a personal social-media account because it uses a familiar logo.
This public website does not accept documents. A person who asks for your online-banking password, card PIN or OTP is asking for access credentials, not a normal supporting document. Keep these private.
If more information is requested
Ask exactly which item is needed and why the existing information could not be verified. Use the service’s official support channel. A document request is not an approval, and submitting multiple applications is not a substitute for resolving a mismatch.
Keep only the copies you need
Avoid leaving sensitive files on a shared computer or sending them through public chat groups. Keep your own important records securely. Ask the application operator about its retention and correction processes if you have questions about information already provided.
Use the requirements checklist, read about bank verification and keep the security guidance close at hand.
